A Child’s Growth Can Truly Be Seen Over Time
Thank you to Kong Ming’s mummy from Kindle Mind Semenyih for sharing her honest feedback with us
“I never realised that a child’s changes could really be seen little by little.”
Kong Ming has been learning at Kindle Mind Semenyih for the past 18 months. His mummy initially chose Kindle Mind because she hoped to strengthen his memory. In the beginning, Kong Ming found memorisation challenging and needed plenty of repetition to slowly remember and become familiar with new things.
After 18 months of training, his mummy noticed that his improvement was not only about remembering things faster:
- Significant improvement in memory
- Growing confidence
- Better focus during learning
- A developing interest in Rubik’s Cube
What touched his mummy the most was seeing Kong Ming become willing to spend time practising on his own. While preparing for the National Memory Competition, he worked towards his goal, put in consistent effort and willingly accepted new challenges.
In the past, he might have needed constant reminders from adults: “Go and practise lah~”
But now, he is more willing to take initiative, give things a try and challenge himself. This change is even more meaningful than simply achieving a good result.
A child’s growth does not happen overnight. Sometimes, small improvements may not be immediately noticeable. But after a few months, half a year or even 18 months, we can look back and realise:
“Eh, he’s really different now!”
From “I’m not very good at this” → “I’ll give it a try” → “I want to challenge myself!”
Thank you, Kong Ming’s mummy, for sharing this heartfelt feedback with us. And thank you, Kong Ming, for your continuous effort and perseverance!
Every child has their own learning pace. We will continue to support them as they learn, practise and grow—one step at a time
